PRIVACY
Short version: JET3D has no accounts, sells nothing, and keeps as little as a multiplayer game can get away with.
What stays in your browser
Your callsign, your chosen aircraft and colour, whether you have done the tutorial, your control preference, and anyone you have muted. All of it lives in your browser's local storage, never leaves your device, and disappears if you clear your browser data.
What the game server sees
- Your callsign and the aircraft you picked, so other players can see who they are flying against.
- Your flight inputs and position while a match is running. This is what multiplayer is.
- Anything you type in chat, which is shown to the other people in that room and kept only for as long as the room exists.
- Your IP address, unavoidably, because that is how an internet connection works. It is not stored in a database or used for anything but delivering the game to you.
Nothing above survives the match. There is no account to attach it to and no profile being built.
Signing in with Google
Optional. If you use it, Google tells us the name on your account so a verified callsign can be shown with a tick beside it. That name is used for the session and nothing else is requested, stored or shared. You can play without it.
Cookies and tracking
No analytics, no fingerprinting, and nothing that follows you between sites on our side. Local storage holds the preferences listed above and nothing else.
Advertising. If ads are running, you will have been asked first, in a banner with a plain No on it. Saying no is remembered and you are not asked again; the game is identical either way, because nothing about the game depends on it. Only if you say yes is an advertising script loaded at all — it is not fetched in the background while you decide. Saying yes lets that network set cookies to show and count ads.
Changed your mind? Clearing this site's data in your browser resets the question, and it will be asked again next visit.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing that would identify them, or anyone else.
Chat, and what we can and cannot do about it
Chat is not moderated by a human. You can mute anyone from the lobby, which is instant and private to you, and whoever set up a room can remove someone from it. There are no accounts, so there are no bans — a removed player can rejoin, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Getting in touch
Questions, or want something removed? Use the suggestion box on the menu — it goes straight to the person who runs this and needs no account, no email address and no sign-in. Say what you want removed and, if you want a reply, leave a callsign to reply to.
