PRIVACY

JET3D.EU — LAST UPDATED 23 SEPTEMBER 2026

Short version: you can play JET3D without an account at all, we sell nothing, and we keep as little as a multiplayer game can get away with. Signing in with Google is optional and adds exactly one thing: a record that survives between sessions.

What stays in your browser

Your callsign, your chosen aircraft and colour, whether you have done the tutorial, your control preference, and anyone you have muted. All of it lives in your browser's local storage, never leaves your device, and disappears if you clear your browser data.

What the game server sees

Nothing above survives the match unless you are signed in — see the next section. Without an account there is nothing to attach it to and no profile being built.

Signing in with Google

Optional. If you use it, Google tells us the name on your account so a verified callsign can be shown with a tick beside it. That name is used for the session and nothing else is requested, stored or shared. You can play without it.

Cookies and tracking

No analytics, no fingerprinting, and nothing that follows you between sites on our side. Local storage holds the preferences listed above and nothing else.

Advertising. If ads are running, you will have been asked first, in a banner with a plain No on it. Saying no is remembered and you are not asked again; the game is identical either way, because nothing about the game depends on it. Only if you say yes is an advertising script loaded at all — it is not fetched in the background while you decide. Saying yes lets that network set cookies to show and count ads.

Changed your mind? Clearing this site's data in your browser resets the question, and it will be asked again next visit.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing that would identify them, or anyone else.

Chat, and what we can and cannot do about it

Chat is filtered for the obvious offensive words, and callsigns that contain them are refused. You can mute anyone from the lobby, which is instant and private to you, and whoever set up a room can remove someone from it. Reports go to the person who runs the game along with the last few lines of that room's chat, so there is context rather than an accusation on its own, and they can ban the account or the connection it came from — for a day, a week or for good. A banned player is told why and until when.

If you sign in with Google

Optional, and it changes what is kept. Google tells us an account identifier and the name on the account; we store the identifier, your chosen callsign, and your record — kills, deaths, assists, matches played, your best results and which colours you have unlocked. That is the entire list, and it is what makes a callsign yours and a scoreboard mean anything across sessions.

Two buttons on your account page cover the rest of it, and neither needs you to ask anyone: one hands you a copy of everything held about you, and one deletes the account outright and immediately. There is no waiting period and nothing is kept back.

We never see your Google password, and we are not given your email address to use for anything — there is no mailing list to be added to because there is no mailing list.

Getting in touch

Questions, or want something removed? Use the suggestion box on the menu — it goes straight to the person who runs this and needs no account, no email address and no sign-in. Say what you want removed and, if you want a reply, leave a callsign to reply to.
